Chef Quinquis comes from Brittany, a French region bathed with the Atlantic Ocean. Seafood is important in this region and has guided his career ever since.
Trained in Quimper, Bretagne, Gwénaël Quinquis continued his training at Thalassa **** restaurant of Sofitel Quiberon. He then went for a mission in French Polynesia and especially at Sofitel Bora Bora Private Island in Bora Bora in December 2007.
In March 2010, he joined Sofitel Moorea Ia Ora Beach Resort and has been promoted Executive Chef in January 2015.
